Panthers season can’t end quick enough
Long are the days of smiles on the Carolina Panthers sidelines, as they wrap up victory after victory. Those went away last season. The 2016 Panthers are 4-8, and their latest defeat was the toughest one for fans to bear. Seattle dominated Carolina 40-7 on Sunday night in all facets of the game.
The game started out bad, as Cam Newton was benched for the first play for reportedly a dress code violation. Coach Ron Rivera put backup Derek Anderson in the game for the first play, in which he abruptly threw an interception. The night didn’t get any better.

As for the “dress code violation”, Newton explained in the post game press conference it was due to him not packing a dress shirt and necktie for the extended road trip. For a player who makes $13 million dollars this year, it’s hard to believe no one in his circle could have run out to a department store in Seattle earlier that day to buy the man a shirt and tie.
Twitter had a field day with Cam and the Panthers misfortunes:
Unless Cam Newton wore a t-shirt that said "F*** Ron Rivera", I'm going to need more information.

Cam Newton been dressin like a mid-grade Batman villain all season and now there's a dress code violation?

So if Cam Newton hadn't worn a tie to the Super Bowl, he wouldn't have started then, too?

With the win, Seattle (8-3-1) remain the only unbeaten team at home, and flexed their muscle as the biggest threat to the Cowboys in the NFC.
