Joe McKnight killed in shooting
Former New York Jets running back Joe McKnight was fatally shot late Thursday afternoon in New Orleans after apparently having an argument at an intersection. McKnight, 28, was from Kenner, Louisiana, was drafted by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL draft. He played 3 seasons in New York, before being released in 2013. McKnight would go on to play with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014, and most recently in the Canadian Football League just weeks before his death.
