Ohio State Beats Michigan Again

Wins locks up Playoff Birth for Buckeyes

Ohio State beats Michigan

Ohio State wins classic 30-27 over Michigan

In a game that truly lived up to the hype, Ohio State defeated Michigan in double overtime.

The call that everyone will be talking about happened on 4th and 1 in double overtime. J.T Barrett kept the ball, and appeared to be stopped just short of the line, however his forward progress was enough to move forward. The very next play, Curtis Samuel ended it.

Ohio State moves to 11-1 and now has to await to see if Penn State will defeat Michigan State. A Nittany Lions win sends them to the Big 10 Title game. A loss sends the Buckeyes. One of those times will see Wisconsin, who clinched the Big 10 West after Nebraska lost to Iowa Friday.

It has now been 5,852 days and counting since the Wolverines have won in Ohio Stadium.

Michigan now sits square on the playoff bubble. At 10-2, the Wolverines have to hope Michigan State defeats Penn State, and then Ohio State defeats Wisconsin. That would leave the Buckeyes in the playoff as the conference champion, and give way to a possible second team from the conference (i.e Michigan) as the 4 seed.

This game will be talked about for years to come, much like the last game of the century is. Michigan lost that one, too.
