Russell Westbrook dropped his fifth triple-double in a row, as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 101-92. Westbrook (28 points, 18 rebounds, 12 assists) joins Michael Jordan as the only other player in NBA history with that feat. Oklahoma City has won all five games during this streak, and have improved to sitting in the fifth spot overall in the Western Conference.
With New Orleans down four in the closing minute, Oklahoma City had the ball, and Russell Westbrook channeled his inner Kobe Bryant to close the door on New Orleans.
